(L to R) Chris Hayes, Ian George and Richard Hudson

We are the three Conservative councillors for Alexandra ward in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.  We are passionate about our ward and local area – Berrylands, Tolworth and the Sunray Estate.  We stand up for local residents and make sure that our area gets its fair share.

Cllr Ian George     Ian has lived locally for over 20 years and this is the second time he has been a Councillor for Alexandra ward.  Working with local residents in Tolworth and Berrylands, Ian makes sure the council deals with important ‘everyday’ issues, such as badly maintained pavements, potholes in the roads and rubbish on the streets.  Ian has previously been the lead member for Housing at Kingston Council and is currently the Vice Chair of the Licensing Committee.

Cllr Chris Hayes     Chris lives locally in Surbiton and runs his own social enterprise, which he runs from home.  His social enterprise involves providing self-esteem and confidence support, training & coaching for people in business, key employees or students of higher education. Chris has recently been helping residents in Tolworth and Berrylands with issues such as parking problems, rubbish collection and speeding in our local roads.  Chris is currently the Lead Member for Children’s Social Care and Health services.

Cllr Richard Hudson     Richard has lived in Elgar Avenue for over 20 years and his children have been to school in the Borough. During his career he has worked for BT and O2, and in a variety of businesses including pharmaceuticals and facilities management. Richard has been a Councillor since 2006 and has used his skills and experience for the benefit of Kingston and Surbiton residents. Richard is currently in charge of Kingston’s Children’s Social Care & Health services.
